Moving Season 2014 in Numbers

The new moving season is already knocking at our doors, so we are pleased to give you an insightful look at what the moving industry looked like in 2014. Enjoy this informative infographic. Although the interstate moves exceed the local ones, it seems like more people moved locally in 2014, compared to the year 2012. In fact, there has been a growth of 5.2%. Compared to 2012, more 4-bedroom dwellers relocated, whereas there has been a decline in the number of studio dwellers. Normally, 1 and 2-bedroom dwellers seem to be most mobile ones. Summer has long been known as the most preferred season to relocate, but digging deeper shows that June and August were the most preferred relocation months.
