Humans have been roaming the face of the earth for thousands of years, leaving behind a wealth of knowledge and history. While we as a species may have witnessed many great events, there are plants and trees that have been standing just as long, if not longer. While many know that trees can live for around 100 years, many don’t realise that there are trees standing today that were alive when the Egyptians were constructing the pyramids, when Christopher Columbus made his way to America and when Henry the eighth was reigning over England.
