Why Indian Teachers Seek Jobs Abroad

According to a study, over 1400 teachers in India revealed that 67% of respondents would move abroad to seek better job opportunities. What they point as a major reason is achieving better work-life balance. This infographic presents the top destinations for Indian teachers and other facts about them. The same survey shows that the vast majority of moving abroad respondents are women. What is more, the infographic illustrates the top 5 reasons to work overseas. Among them are pursuing higher education and seeking citizenship. Of course, family reasons and higher salary also challenge Indian teachers to go internationally.
