Surfing is a sport which is capable of testing the thoughest limits of human beings. From the highest wave ever surfed to the longest consecutive surfing session, many surfers have risked their lives in pursuit of achieving and breaking incredible world records. Garret McNamara, a 44 year old Hawaiian surfer, managed to surf a mammoth 78 foot wave in 2012 at Nazare, Portugal. The longest consecutive surfing session record is held by Ben Shaw who rode over 300 waves in total for 29 hours and 10 minutes.
