Urinary-Tract-Infection-Explainer-infographic-plaza-thumb Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an infection in any part of the human urinary system. That includes the kidneys, bladder, ureters and the urethra. The most common type of infections affects the lower urinary tract, by which is meant the bladder and the urethra. Women are at more risk when it comes to the Urinary Tract Infection, with 1 in 2 women visiting the doctor at least once in her lifetime. Men, on the other side, are more likely to not experience UTIs at all during their lifetime. UTIs are more common than one could imagine, with millions of generated doctor visits every year. It is possible to significantly lower this number by spreading out knowledge, to make people more aware of risks and causes of infection. The most common symptom is pain during urination, but even if it is painless, be careful when you have cloudy urine, when you experience pressure, cramping or pain around bladder, or you have to urinate frequently and feel no relief after. You can also experience fatigue and fever. Urinary-Tract-Infection-Explainer-infographic-plaza Source: https://www.comfortmedical.com/
