Ireland at the Eurovision 2016 [ANIMATED]

With Ireland competing in the Eurovision Song Contest for the 5oth time, the competition's most succesful nation enter's the 2016 contest having not won a Eurovision title since 1996. A lot has changed since Ireland dominated the Eurovision in the mid '90s (winning a record breaking 3 times in a row in the process - making them the only country ever to achieve such a feat), but Ireland hope to achieve a new found success by sending a globally succesful contestant, Westlife's Nicky Byrne, as their representative for the 2016 contest. There have been some interesting omens that suggest that this might just be Nicky Byrne's year and that he will bring the Eurovision title home to Ireland.
